We are seeking an experienced Epic PACS Project Manager (PM) to lead the planning, implementation, and integration of Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) with Epic Radiant and Cupid modules across our healthcare enterprise. Will work on 50% Epic service consolidation projects and 50% Imaging projects. Epic experience is highly preferred. This individual will collaborate with Radiology, Cardiology, IT, and clinical leadership to ensure seamless project execution and optimal imaging workflow outcomes. This is a 12 month contract and Fully Remote
Project Management:
Lead end-to-end project planning, timelines, resource allocation, and delivery of PACS integrations with Epic applications (Radiant, Cupid, and potentially other imaging platforms).
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with clinical stakeholders, Epic analysts, PACS vendors, imaging departments, and third-party integrators to gather requirements and provide updates.
System Integration:
Oversee and coordinate integration efforts between Epic and PACS (e.g., Fuji, GE, Philips, Sectra), including HL7, DICOM, and interface engine involvement.
Testing & Validation:
Direct testing efforts including unit, system, interface, and end-user validation to ensure functional accuracy and clinical usability.
Risk & Issue Management:
Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and address issues related to project scope, timeline, or system performance.
Training & Go-Live Support:
Coordinate training logistics, go-live readiness, and post-implementation support to ensure clinical teams are fully operational.
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in healthcare IT, with at least 3 years focused on Epic Radiant/Cupid and PACS integrations
Experience with at least one full-cycle PACS replacement or Epic Radiant/Cupid implementation project
Strong knowledge of DICOM, HL7, IHE workflows, and imaging system architecture
Proficiency in PM tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, etc.)
Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, IT, or a related field (Master’s or PMP preferred)
Epic certification in Radiant and/or Cupid (preferred but not always required)
Clinical background in Radiology or Cardiology workflows
Vendor management experience with PACS and VNA providers
Familiarity with cloud-based imaging solutions or AI-driven diagnostics
