This position is responsible for conducting business requirements reviews, analyzing technical systems specifications, and performing systems process analysis. It includes developing detailed selection evaluation criteria and re-engineering business processes using industry-standard tools and methods, with a strong understanding of both technical and business environments.
The individual will collaborate closely with business process experts to identify and resolve software issues and will be responsible for delivering innovative IT solutions in high-risk and demanding business environments. This position also requires a strong commitment to maintaining security compliance by adhering to Information Technology Security Policies and completing mandatory annual security training, such as HIPAA and FERPA.
Contract Review Management
Oversees and manages the review of IT contract agreements, both internal and external to HSIS, ensuring all IT, Security, Privacy, and business criteria meet the highest standards.
Interdepartmental Liaison
Acts as a liaison between HSIS, the Office of Legal Counsel, and Purchasing to address organizational needs, including requests requiring expedited processing.
Vendor Negotiation Support
Serves as an escalation point for staff involved in contract negotiations and collaborates with vendors to address IT-related concerns.
Subject Matter Expertise
Provides technical expertise, training, and problem resolution support related to IT contract activities across the enterprise.
Process Improvement
Periodically assesses current processes for efficiency and partners with leadership to implement improvements.
Executive Reporting
Delivers weekly status reports to executive leadership (CIO and designees) on the state of contract reviews.
Staff Mentorship
Mentors and oversees team members assigned to contract reviews to ensure adherence to Medicine standards.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
Experience:
Minimum of six (6) years of IT experience and six (6) years of legal and/or contract experience.
