Epic Patient Engagement & Interoperability
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Manager with strong Epic and digital health experience to lead patient engagement and interoperability initiatives. This individual will work with healthcare clients to optimize and personalize the patient experience using tools such as MyChart, Cheers, and Care Everywhere, while aligning these efforts with broader digital front door strategies. The ideal candidate will bring operational insight, technical fluency, and a strong understanding of how to drive value through patient-facing Epic technologies.
This is a targeted hire for the next 1–3 months focused on future-fit client engagements.
Key Skills and Experience:
Epic expertise with MyChart, Cheers, and Care Everywhere
Experience designing and optimizing customized MyChart portals (sometimes called Yo-Yo, you're on your own, customers) to improve branding, usability, and engagement
Knowledge of digital front door strategies, including self-scheduling, digital check-in, and mobile engagement
Understanding of patient communication workflows and patient access integration
Experience working across patient experience, marketing, and clinical operations teams
Familiarity with Epic APIs, App Orchard, or FHIR-based tools for extending MyChart functionality
Exposure to interoperability frameworks (e.g., Carequality, TEFCA) and business continuity planning is a preferred
Strong client-facing communication and strategic advisory capabilities preferred
Epic certification preferred
