The Epic Interface Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of interfaces between Epic systems and other healthcare applications. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless data exchange, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Epic interfaces, strong project management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of Epic interface projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with clinical teams, IT staff, and external vendors to gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure successful integration of systems.
  • Interface Design and Configuration: Oversee the design, development, and configuration of interfaces, ensuring they meet clinical and operational needs while complying with regulatory standards.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute testing plans to validate interfaces, ensuring data integrity and functionality before deployment.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support for end-users, ensuring they understand how to effectively use the integrated systems and troubleshoot common issues.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and addressing any concerns.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all interface projects comply with healthcare regulations, data governance policies, and organizational standards.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize reporting tools to monitor interface performance, track metrics, and inform strategic decision-making.
PMP cert is not required but preferred.
