Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Epic Gallery resources and internal application teams, facilitating review, testing, and deployment of available content.

  • Evaluate Gallery updates, content bundles, and recommended optimizations for relevance to the organization’s workflows.

  • Support Foundation System alignment by assessing and implementing Epic-released configurations and workflows where appropriate.

  • Collaborate with application analysts and clinical/operational stakeholders to validate new content and enhancements.

  • Manage change control documentation, version tracking, and communication related to Gallery imports and system updates.

  • Assist in refuel or optimization initiatives by identifying opportunities to replace custom builds with Foundation content.

  • Conduct impact analysis of new Gallery releases or Epic upgrades on existing system configurations.

  • Support testing, training, and go-live readiness for Gallery-derived enhancements.

  • Maintain current knowledge of Epic Foundation System updates, features, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, information systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Epic certification or proficiency in a relevant module (e.g., Willow, Orders, ClinDoc, Ambulatory, or other applicable areas).

  • 2–5 years of experience as an Epic Analyst or Application Coordinator.

  • Strong understanding of Epic build and testing lifecycle, including Foundation System concepts.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across clinical, technical, and operational teams.

  • Familiarity with Epic Refuel, Foundation Content, and change management processes preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Epic’s Gallery tool, including content evaluation, previewing, and import workflows.

  • Knowledge of Epic DevOps tools (Nexus, Jira, etc.) or content lifecycle management.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify workflow standardization and optimization opportunities.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination abilities.
