A Workday Systems Analyst specializing in HCM is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the Workday Human Capital Management module. This role supports HR functions by ensuring system reliability, process efficiency, and user adoption. This position reports to the Business Applications Manager and supports the ongoing Workday project, with potential for full-time employment upon project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Configuration & Support: Configure and maintain Workday HCM to meet organizational needs. Troubleshoot and resolve system-related HR issues.
- Business Process Optimization: Work with HR stakeholders to enhance and automate HR processes such as onboarding, benefits administration, and position management.
- Data Management & Reporting: Ensure data accuracy, manage security roles, and create reports to support HR decision-making.
- Testing & Issue Resolution: Support system testing, implement fixes, and ensure seamless Workday updates.
- User Support & Training: Assist HR teams with Workday-related inquiries, create training documentation, and conduct user training sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience working with Workday HCM module.
- Participation in at least one full Workday implementation or major system enhancement.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance requirements.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Experience with Workday security and role-based permissions.
- Strong knowledge of Workday HCM and related modules such as Absence, Benefits, Learning, and Recruiting.
